I love the article in today's Washington Post Local Living section, titled "A little pow in the powder room" by Lindsey M. Roberts. She says "the powder room begs for boldness" ~ I agree! Her first section suggests you "add some sparkle" by choosing fun light fixtures. First up, her consultant Eve Fay-Glenn features the Moravian Star pendants by Worlds Away. We have 3 variations of the star on display in our Arlington, VA showroom:

AGS812 |
|
STAR CSZL ~ Capiz Shell |
|
ACS110 |
Next up, designer Chrales Almonte says we should "have fun with light fixtures in tiny rooms." Their picture reminds me of this Crystorama pendant that we display in our Laurel, MD & Chantilly, VA showrooms:

6753-AP |
Charles Almonte also says that "lighting should be clear and even, so that you don't get shadows on the occupant's face. One of the best ways to do this is to put wall sconces on either side of the mirror." He is correct, and their pictures reminded me of these by Kichler Lighting:

45137NI ~ on display in Arlington |
|
10451SN ~ special order |
|
10438NCH ~ also special order |
As they say in the article "because the powder room is small and easily redecorated... it's a great place to experiment." See the full story here:

Don't forget that we have our own teams of experts in all 3 showroom locations. We'd love to help you jazz up YOUR powder room!
