Trend: gold as the forward leaning finish

I've been thinking all week about doing a post about the trend of the brass finish coming back... and then I got an email from Kichler Lighting about trends, and our favorite speaker Jeff Dross is saying the same thing!  So now I know it's not just me ~ if Jeff Dross of Kichler says it's a trend, then it must be!  :)  So in his words, "In kitchens, we see the following trends:  gold as the forward leaning or "trendy" finish.  Faucets & finishings in Polished Gold and Brushed Brass are becoming popular."  This seems to be very true in our Chantilly showroom.  Here's a sampling from all of our major categories in shiny and brushed brasses:
