Our Arlington showroom manager, Linda Morley, just came back from the American Lighting Association (ALA) conference that was held in California this year. She suggested I blog about the Lighting for Tomorrow competition, which is a great idea! From their website (
http://www.lightingfortomorrow.com/), their intention for the competition is "to stimulate the market for attractive, energy-efficient residential lighting fixtures that use a fraction of the electricity of standard incandescent fixtures. By encouraging new designs and technologies, Lighting for Tomorrow aims to increase market acceptance and awareness of the growing opportunities in energy-efficient lighting." Here are my favorites:
We stock both of these products ~ the Cree/LLF recessed lights and the Kichler LED undercabinet. Both are on display in all 3 of our showrooms if you want to see them. They are the best LED products on the market, I think, and you won't believe how gorgeous the color quality is!
We don't stock any of these, but we can order from both American Fluorescent and Cherry Tree Desgin, and I thought all of these were really nice. Of course, I especially like the drum shade pendant!!!
