I've posted lots of things with Drum Shades in this blog, but never one like this! This one is actually an accessory you can add to an existing chandelier or ceiling fixture, without having to remove the fixture from the ceiling. These shades use their own Clip & Slide attachment and then you add their double lined Sheer Shade. Pretty neat! They have an instructional video at www.glowlighting.com if you want to learn more.

Access Challenger LED/fluorescent fixture
We finally got our scanner back! It's still not making good color copies, but at least I can scan in pictures for our blog!
I just started reading the latest issue of our Home Lighting & Accessories magazine, and the first thing that caught my eye was these new exterior fixtures from Access:
I think these are quite clever. You can click on my pictures to read their text, but here's the gist of how they work: They have an LED light that is on a photocell, so it's on from dusk to dawn. Then they also have a fluorescent light that turns on when motion is detected. Pretty neat!

Sidewalk Sale!
Good morning! My color printer/scanner has been in the shop, so I've been waiting to post until I could have a picture.... but there's no sign of getting it back any time soon, so I decided to just go ahead and post with no pretty picture :(
I DO have exciting news, though: we're having an amazing "Sidewalk Sale" to go along with our Spring Sale. We dug out a ton of fan boxes and marked them way down, along with some fluorescents, some picture lights, and other odds & ends. We have priced these items to MOVE, so come check them out! Our sale runs through this Saturday, May 16th!

Murray Feiss OL1913BK Red Tag Special
Well the sun is trying to shine a bit today, so things are looking bright here! Our Spring Sale officially starts tomorrow, but I still have a few Red Tag specials up my sleeve to show you first...
This one is an indoor/outdoor flush mount by Murray Feiss, model number OL1913BK. It's from their Castle Collection, in a black finish, with white glass. It is 12" wide by 6" high and takes two 60-watt lamps. The regular price was $85.50, but it is now marked down to $45. What a bargain!

Kichler 3983TZ Red Tag Special
We're having a rainy Monday here in Chantilly, with no sign of sunshine in the forecast! :( But here's something to look forward to: Our Spring Sale officially starts on Thursday! This is from Kichler's French Quarter family. It features a tan linen fabric shade with braided gimp trim & tortoise glass accents, it's 17" wide by 13-1/2" high, and takes two 100-watt bulbs. The original price was $144, but we have it on sale for $75.
